Irish Interior Designer Carol Reddin offers an extensive range of services to both the private & commercial sector. Understated glamour, the combination of several periods of design blended with the creation of comfortable spaces are the foundation of Carol’s style.
Her inspiration comes from art, fashion, antiques & nature as well as regular travel to Europe, Asia and the USA, all culminating in a broad & diverse perspective of unique design ideas.
Carol can advise on colour schemes, room layouts, furniture, flooring & lighting selection. Bespoke furniture pieces such as bookcases, headboards, sofas and kitchens can also be custom designed. Favourite pieces of furniture can be updated and transformed simply by a new coat of paint or new handles or through the use of new upholstery for a sofa or chair.
Carol personally manages every detail of each project down to the placement of the final cushion or lamp.
Behind Carol there is a professional team of curtain makers, upholsterers, painters, decorators, cabinet makers, electricians & builders to ensure that the best quality & workmanship is brought to your home or business.
Understanding your personal taste, sense of style and influences is very important in the early stages and helps Carol focus on bringing your ideas to reality. During the first consultation Carol will sit and discuss your project and requirements in detail. This will assist in establishing your budget and helping to identify all your design options. Following your meeting, Carol will then work on providing you with a breakdown of suggested costs and, if required, a visual concept based on everything shared and discussed.
Fabric swatches, paint options, tiles, wood samples and any imagery/mood boards will help demonstrate her ideas and get the process started.
There is an initial consultation fee which is redeemable if you decide to proceed with Carol’s services. Then once everything is agreed, a reasonable hourly fee structure or a once off fee can be decided upon, depending on the size, location and scope of your project.
